During the Chuck panel at the 2011 Comic-Con, two major characters will be joining the cast for Season 5 which will begin in October. Carrie Moss (Trinity) from The Matrix will lead the Verbanksi Corp, which is the world's top private spy organization and leading competition for Carmichael Industries. Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) from Star Wars will become the new villain for Chuck this season, but his character name and position has yet to be revealed. Adam Baldwin (John Casey) also mentioned that Carrie Moss's character will introduce a new love interest for him, which will not set well with Chuck, Sarah, and Morgan.
The cast did announce sad news; that this will be the last season of Chuck, however rumors have hit the internet that says differently. Enthusiasts and fans say that the show could continue after the conclusion of this season, although the cast has said that a main character may not survive this season. this will provide a significant blow to the cast and fans, but will make for a fitting final season. Only time will tell, but fans should keep their fingers crossed for more Chuck action!
